August marks the beginning of our new “season”, with another year of technicals in planning from a newly established board.  We’re celebrating with not only our ongoing Domino’s guilty pleasure pizza, but also a treat that our new VP is bringing to share all the way from Culpepper VA; the delicious confections of Knakal’s Bakery.  This month’s door prize is also an edible delight, and comes to us overseas from Ireland.

The PTG National Convention finished up only two weeks ago, and our chapter got to play Host.  Many of our members were able to attend, and we will experience various accounts of classes, activities, and new innovations in our trade.  The chapter is also due a brief report from the official Council Meeting – can you believe there are still new changes happening in PTG?  We may also take a peek at some jigs, models, and new tools.  Don’t miss the extra treats, and new members to greet!
