Technician Panel: In-Home Service

In-Home piano service is the bread and butter of our industry, but not every technician has the same approach. This panel features four technicians with varied career paths: as a first or later career, as RPT or non-RPT, as a 50-year veteran and a single decade veteran. All are full time technicians of our chapter, and have interesting idiosyncrasies to share about how they perform tuning and repairs, travel and scheduling, and most importantly – clients and relationships.

Our previous panel with technicians specializing in dealer service was highly successful, and the wealth of perspective inspired this revisit of the panel-format for this month’s technical. In-Home service was the most requested topic, and we are excited to compare and contrast the approaches from these active members in our community. There will be time to take questions from the floor, both in-person and from our Zoom attendees.
